CNRG ("Synergy" - combined action or operation) is an alliance of local government and public agencies, labor, businesses,
agriculture, forestry, mining, and development interests working together to address the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and
critical habitat issues. CNRG believes that the participation of diverse stakeholders at all steps in the listing process
is essential so that the ESA can be implemented in a coordinated, collaborative, and consensus-based manner.
Below are steps you can take to get involved.

The first step toward taking action is to become fully informed. The California Natural Resources Group has made an effort
to compile and maintain the most up-to-date information concerning the Endangered Species Act and Critical Habitat. But
there are many other useful sources of information as well. Visit the resources section of this site to view a list of
useful links.

Getting involved in your area requires knowing what is going on. If you want to have your voice heard concerning Endangered
Species Act designations and listings, you will want to know when they are being proposed. The Federal Register is a great
resource for finding out what species are under consideration, where they are being considered and how you can comment on
the proposed designation.
